Collectory Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 25, 2026
Collectory is an offline-first collection tracker from Newman AI Works. The app is designed so collection data stays on your device unless you choose to export a backup or report.
Data Stored On Your Device
Collectory stores collections, item names, notes, quantities, tags, categories, wishlist status, user-created storage locations, app settings, and app-owned photo copies on your device.
Item locations are storage places you create, such as shelves, boxes, cases, bins, drawers, cabinets, rooms, or totes. Collectory does not request GPS location.
Photos
When you select a photo, Collectory uses the Android Photo Picker and copies the selected image into app storage. Collectory does not request broad storage access.
Backups And Exports
Manual ZIP backup and export files are created only when you choose to save them. These files may contain your collection data and photos. You control where exported files are stored and shared.
Google Drive backup is marked as setup pending in the first internal test build. If enabled in a later build, it will save backup files to your Google Drive as backup and restore, not live sync.
Purchases
Collectory Pro is planned as a one-time unlock, not a subscription. If enabled in a later build, purchases will be handled by Google Play Billing. Google Play may process purchase and payment information according to Google's policies, and Collectory will store only local entitlement state needed to unlock Pro features.
Accounts, Ads, Analytics, And Developer Servers
Collectory does not require a Collectory account. The app does not use developer-hosted collection servers in version 1. The app does not include ads, analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs in version 1.
Deleting Data
You can delete local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling Collectory. Delete manual exports wherever you saved them. If Drive backup is enabled in a later build, delete Drive backups from your Google Drive.
