A Post-Launch App Maintenance Checklist
A small app is not finished when the first store listing goes live. The public pages, support paths, privacy copy, screenshots, and crawl evidence need a simple maintenance loop.
Check the live status
After launch, every public surface should agree on what is live, what is pending, and what is planned. If Android is live and iOS is still pending, the app site, parent site, store copy, sitemap, schema, and support pages should keep that status aligned.
Review the trust pages
Support, privacy, terms, contact paths, screenshots, icons, and release notes should be checked together after meaningful product changes. Small mismatches make an app feel unattended even when the app itself is working.
Refresh the proof loop
A maintenance pass should rerun local SEO checks, mobile UX checks, schema coverage, internal links, social preview readback, and crawler readiness before a deploy. The point is not ceremony; it is keeping the app discoverable, supportable, and truthful.
